SSS Friendly Frolic Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

RejoicingCrafts

Hello crafty friends, happy Saturday!
Welcome to the second day of the Simon Says Stamp Friendly Frolic Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from the Debby Hughes’s blog you are on the right track.

For my first card, I created my own green leafy background with the Plantiful Puns stamp set – one of my favourites among the new products! I stamped leaves & butterflies from the Plantiful Puns set on the wonky rectangle watercolour paper panel using Altenew Sand Dunes dye ink. I then coloured all stamped images with Derwent inktense coloured pencils and water brush.
I’d planned to make no-line watercoloured panel, but then I added thin black lines over the watercoloured images using Copic 0.05mm black multiliner.

For my second card, I used the Leafy Frame die along with other SSS products. I Die cut the Leafy Frame from white card stock. Next, I heat embossed the…

NND_July18_5yr_HOP

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to the Newton’s Nook Designs 5 year Blog Hop. I am so excited to be part of such a great event. I met Jennifer’s gorgeous designs more or less 2 years ago and fell in love instantly with Newton. I cannot imagine any week passing since then without creating something with their stamps and dies. Yeah, you guessed it right, I am probably one of their biggest fans!

NND_julybloghop_zsm_blog

For the Blog Hop I have created a Mermazing card set using the new Narly mermaids stamp and coordinating dies.

NND_julybloghop_zsm_06I started with stamping and colouring the cute mermaids on alcohol friendly cardstock using Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. For the first card I added strips of an alcohol inked background to a white card base. I made the strips in different width for more interest.

NND_julybloghop_zsm_09I stamped the sentiment above using a matching…

Altenew Color Therapy Blog Hop + Giveaway

CaCaCraft by Erica

Hello, hello!

Today I’m very honoured to be part of a very fun blog hop hosted by Altenew, and you should have come here from the oh, so talented Virginia Lu but the full list of the blog hop will be at the bottom of this post in case you get lost along the way or go back to the Altenew Card Blog.

Altenew Color Therapy Blog Hop Graphic

Isn’t this banner so fun and colourful? I love colours and to do colouring so I’m thrilled to be part of this blog hop. I often colour just for the fun of it and end up with lots of images ready for card making, it’s such a lovely way to have some me-time and clear your head.

I have had the Pattern Play-Circle stamp for ages but never used it so I thought why not try it for this project with my Artist Markers

Pinkfresh Studio July Release Blog Hop – Merry & Bright Toy Shop + GIVEAWAY

Caly Person

Hi Friends!

I’m so excited for the Pinkfresh Studio July Release today!  There are so many amazing products, so please be sure to hop along to see all the different products by the Pinkfresh Studio card design team!

PFS July Release Blog Hop Banner

I created a card using the Merry & Bright Toy Shop and let me tell you – it has my heart in a time warp….  I didn’t have much growing up, so I lived vicariously through Christmas movies and this card reminds me of that feeling!

PFS Merry & Bright Toy Shop Square

The Merry & Bright die cuts and embosses the card front to resemble the front of a toy shop – how cool is that?!  The details are so intricate.  I could’ve left this layer bright and white, but I decided to give it some color using Copics.  Instead of writing down the colors, I’ve taken a photo to give you a visual of all the colors…
