Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the Altenew January 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Agnieszka Malyszek’s blog you are on the right track!
For my first card, I’m featuring the Wonderland Stamp Set.
I simply stamped images on 4.25″ x 5.5″ watercolour paper panel using black pigment ink, and then loosely watercoloured all stamped images with the Watercolor 36 Pan Set.
For my second card, I’m featuring the Garden Picks 3D Die Set.
Altenew team is an expert on flowers! This new 3D flower dies are absolutely, undoubtedly, marvelously beautiful!! It is my most favourite among the entire January release products!
I just followed the instruction, made 3D flowers & leaves, then adhered them on white paper panel. I decorated the left side of the panel with Dotted Washi Tape.
Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6…

Have you all seen the 2019 Hero Arts Catalog? I’m really excited I got to create samples for it this year and today, I’m sharing a card made using the Lily Pond Fancy Die. Please note – this new die will not be available for purchase until February 15th. I realize this is a bummer, but we will have a Release Blog Hop (on Feb 15th) and I will share this again to remind you :). I just wanted to share this as a preview so you can get excited and know what’s to come!

This “You are Loved” stamp inspired this whole piece. Made me think of those around us that you love and think about every day. Then you think if they are happy, sad or going through a tough time. You so badly want them to know that no matter what is going on, they are loved. Send them a reminder this with wall hanging made using a wooden substrate with embellishments. Wanted to make a custom-made heart to fit the stamp; made it from polymer clay. The wooden substrate is treated with Walnut inks. Check out how this project is made.
Time: 1.5 Hours
Begin by selecting wooden untreated cradled board (shadowbox like frame) or other substrate that is made of untreated but finished wood.
Using the palette knife and Iridescent Turquoise Creative medium stencil a background onto the board…

Check out this gorgeous card by Vera Yates using the Peony Close Up Cling Background stamp from @TheTonStamps via thetonstampsblog.com/2019/01/16/blue-birthday-peony/
Hi peeps! How’s it going? Vera here, bringing you mid week inspiration on behalf of The Ton.
With the recent anniversary release, there are many beautiful sets for me to play with. But, I have one set that I didn’t get a chance to play with during the release party, the Peony Close Up Cling Background stamp! And, am pretty excited the way my card turned out using this set.
To start, I stamped and heat embossed the flower with Rose Gold embossing powder on a piece of watercolor cardstock. Then I watercolor the flower with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor set. With the winter weather still going strong, I decided to color it with cool tone. Let it dry.
On hindsight, I should have taped the paper before I watercolor it, so the paper stay flat, but I forgot. Luckily, strong good glue, helped to straighten the paper. 🙂 Die…
